What is MatchMusic and how does it work?

MatchMusic is a marketplace connecting artists with curators. Artists upload their songs and send them to curators using credits. Curators decide whether to add the songs to their playlists or provide professional feedback to help improve the artist's production.

Who can use MatchMusic?

The platform is open to artists, managers, record labels, and curators worldwide.

What are the age requirements?

You must be at least 16 years old. Minors can use the platform with parental authorization and financial control.

Is MatchMusic paid?

Artists use credits to send songs to curators, so it is paid. Curators do not pay—they earn credits as compensation for feedback.

How do I register as an artist or curator?

Artists can register directly from the Artist Dashboard. Curators need prior approval before their account becomes active.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, by contacting contact@matchmusic.com. Deleting your account will result in losing all credits with no refund.

Can I change my personal information after registering?

Yes, you can update your data from your profile.

Can I register using Google?

Yes, you can use your Google account to sign up.

What are credits?

Credits are virtual coins within the platform. Each credit equals one US dollar and is used to send songs to curators.

Can I convert credits to real money or request refunds?

No, credits are non-refundable and cannot be converted to cash, except in exceptional cases by contacting contact@matchmusic.com.

What are the minimum amounts for purchases and withdrawals?

Artists can buy from $5 (5 credits). Curators can withdraw from $20.

How are payments managed and secured?

Payments are handled by Stripe, and we apply advanced standard security measures to protect transactions.

How long does it take for curators to receive their payment?

Between 7 and 14 business days.

How do I send a song to a curator?

From your Artist Dashboard, go to "Find Curators," select curators, and send your song using credits.

Can I see who listens to my song?

No, you can only see which curators you've sent your songs to.

What happens if a curator doesn't provide feedback?

Credits are refunded in full if the review expires without being completed. If feedback is poor quality, you can report it to contact@matchmusic.com.

How is the quality of feedback ensured?

Curators must listen to a minimum of the song, meet minimum word requirements, and can use AI assistance to structure professional feedback. Feedback evaluates mix, sound quality, mastering, structure, and originality.

Can curators use my music outside the platform?

No. Using your music outside MatchMusic is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension.

Does MatchMusic keep ownership of my songs?

No. Artists retain ownership. MatchMusic protects the music on the platform and takes action against copyright violations.

What should I do if I notice a copyright violation?

Contact contact@matchmusic.com to report it.

Does MatchMusic protect my personal data?

Yes. We use industry-standard security measures and only share information with necessary services like Stripe and Clerk.

Are my data sold?

No, we never sell or share personal data with third parties.
